Family Friendly Venue
The Cobdogla and District Club provides patrons and their families with a safe friendly environment in which to relax and enjoy a drink and a delicious meal, while the children amuse themselves in the large games room.
We have 20 poker machines in our gaming lounge and we are a SA lotteries agent. Other facilities include ATM, disabled toilets, big plasma screen TV’s, amusement machines and a unisex toilet with a change table.
The bar and dining facilities are clean and attractive and make for pleasant surroundings. The private function room is a popular venue for receptions, business seminars and parties of any kind. The room opens into our cottage garden with shady trees, umbrellas and outdoor furniture.
Kitchen is open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. Summer daylight savings hours 6pm-8pm and winter hours are 5:30-7:30pm. We are very proud of the delicious meals we offer which includes an extensive salad and vegetable bar. Kids meals have a free soft drink included. Visitors staying in local caravan parks receive 10% off a main meal.
We believe we are the leading venue in the Riverland for entertainment. We make every effort to make every occasion one that people will remember.

- We may ask a person suspected of being a minor, on licensed premises for the purpose of consumption of alcohol, evidence of age, and in contravention of the act, to leave the licensed premises.
- We have a policy to bar patrons if they commit a offence or they behave in an offensive manner.
- We offer twenty Gaming Machines, a Games Room with free games for the family and a Functions Room for special occasions.
ESTABLISHED 1958
HISTORY
First mention of establishing a Cobdogla & District Club came in the 1949-50 bowling season, when the Police Department issued a warning that bowling clubs were breaking the law regarding the consumption of liquor in club houses.
A meeting was then called in the Cobdogla Institute, which was well attended. During the meeting all doors were locked and only those who were in favour of the Club were allowed to remain, and these men became the Foundation Members on payment of their subscriptions. There were 68 members.
Finance was a big problem, however with money from several years’ membership subscriptions paid in advance, loans free of interest from members etc, the Club managed to get started.
The Cobdogla and District Club was officially opened as a Community Club on Saturday 6th December 1958. This was a grand achievement and showed a true Community effort.
